In order to help make your child’s transition into Addlestone a success, you are invited to meet with your child’s teachers for our Back to School In-Take conferences. This is an opportunity for you and your child to visit their classroom and meet their teachers. The conference will include an open discussion about your child’s strengths, needs, behaviors and learning styles, as well as an opportunity to provide any pertinent information that you believe will help your child to be successful this year.
As a partner in your child’s academic success, we look forward to this opportunity to work together to provide the best individualized nourishment for your child’s education.
Back to School In-Take conferences sign ups are open now through August 5th.

Mrs. Ruby Fields
EC4 Lead Teacher
Hi, my name is Ruby! I’m so excited to return as the EC4 lead teacher this school year. I’ve been working in childcare since 2011 and have shared a variety of educational experiences both in and outside of the classroom.
With time spent working as a floater, substitute teacher, and both as an assistant and lead teacher, I have had the opportunity to work with all of the Early Childhood age groups from infants through preschool. I’m looking forward to my 2nd year teaching at Addlestone. Addlestone truly cares about the students and teachers, and is a welcoming environment enriched with a love for learning.
Fun Fact about me: my husband and I own an Ecommerce business, marketing high quality products.
Mrs. Tara Wilson
EC4 Assistant Teacher
Hi, my name is Tara! I was a dedicated and passionate preschool teacher for 10 years and after developing a strong background in preschool education and customer service, I served as the Membership and Child Care Director for a large YMCA in Simpsonville, SC. I also held roles in administration as an Assistant Director at two preschools in the Charleston area.
I am beyond thrilled to step back into the classroom and look forward to joining AHA, a team that is committed to creating an environment where young children can thrive and develop a love for learning.
In my spare time I enjoy shopping, going to the beach, and reading. I love spending time with my husband and our children. But, the best thing is being “Honey” to my sweet granddaughter!
Hi my name is Gerti, and I have been the Early Childhood Judaics teacher at Addlestone for over 5 years. I have been so fortunate to share some of my time here at AHA with my two daughters. I am passionate about working with children to gain perspective on the world and its wonders. I’m excited to work with the EC staff to bring Judaic Studies, Hebrew language, and Jewish values into your child’s classroom every day. We’ll learn Jewish traditions, holidays, daily prayers, blessings, conversational Hebrew, and more through songs, games, and storytelling. Every Friday, we’ll celebrate Kabbalat Shabbat (Welcoming the Sabbath) together. Plus, each semester, you’ll be invited to a creative showcase of your children’s Jewish education. I look forward to a great year ahead!

We include time for homework every afternoon and have staff available to assist with assignments if necessary.
