The following story taken is from the Talmud:
A man came upon his good friend Honi who was working hard to plant a young Carob tree. They talked for a while and the man asked Honi, “When do you expect to harvest the Carob from this tree?” Honi replied, “Oh, this tree will not bear harvestable fruit for at least 70 years.” “Then why do you work so hard to plant this tree if you will not live to see its harvest?”
Honi replied as he pointed across the field, “All my life I have had the good fortune to harvest carob from these hundreds of trees. It is because of the foresight of those that lived before me that I owe this new seedling to my generations to follow.”
We are so lucky at Addlestone Hebrew Academy to have the love and support of such a wonderful community. Since 1956, we have encountered so many passionate, loving and generous families who have given their heart and soul to the success of AHA. As we continue to grow and the links of our chain strengthen, we have a wave of new families who continue the tradition of excellence known as Addlestone.
There are a number of ways you can help our school. We consistently gather support from alumni, parents, grandparents, current students, and friends of the academy; how lucky we are! Whether you want to contribute through volunteerism or through a monetary donation, you make a difference. AHA is truly appreciative for all our support. Thank you!

Friends of the Academy
Friends of the Academy is our annual fund which is held during the fall school semester. Each year the school relies on the support of our parents, grandparents, alumni families and the general Jewish and secular communities to enable us to offer the kind of academic, social and cultural experience that makes a day school education unique. Look for your brochure to give in the fall!

Honoraria & Memorials
Sending a donation to Addlestone in honor or memory of a loved one is a rewarding and meaningful gift. We will send a card acknowledging that a donation was made in honor of a birthday, birth of a child, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, milestones and/or achievements of friends and family members.
